MEET OUR MEMBERS

Safety Officer and AEMT Kyla Pillsbury

Kyla is Client Service Administrator at Intelligent Banking Solutions, and has been a member of the WVFD since 2011. Her favorite part of being a member of the department is knowing that she has an opportunity to make an impact on someone who is having a terrible day when they have called 911. She enjoys being part a team of people who drop whatever they are doing to go and help someone in their time of need, and who have the opportunity to share a connection with that person and ease their mind just the slightest bit.

When asked what her favorite tool at the department is she said, "I can’t narrow it down to one- I love the Lifepak, the portable lights, and our training mannequin."

In her spare time Kyla enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, house projects, reading a good book, or being creative! She says that nephew, Connor is the biggest influence in her life.  She strives to be the best leader/role model that she can be for him.
